The Service

What is turnkey interior design?

A turnkey interior design service means one team takes responsibility for the whole project: design, procurement, coordination and installation, then hands the finished home back to you.

It's our most complete service and the one most of our clients choose for whole-house projects, new builds and major renovations. Instead of managing designers, suppliers, deliveries and trades yourself, you have one point of contact who sees the whole picture.

Gülçin coordinates and oversees the full installation, on time and within budget, keeping you informed throughout. Clients describe her as seeing 'the detail other professionals miss', and on a turnkey project, that attention to detail is what protects your budget and your timeline.

You stay involved in the decisions that matter. Many clients enjoy the creative journey, visiting glass-blowing studios or touring galleries together, while we take care of everything that would otherwise eat into their evenings and weekends.

Why it Matters

The cost of getting it wrong

Managing a high-end interior yourself is effectively a second job, and mistakes are costly.

Coordination gaps

When designers, suppliers and trades each work in isolation, items arrive late, don't fit or get installed in the wrong order.

Budget drift

Without one person watching the whole project, small overspends add up quickly.

Your time disappears

Chasing deliveries, answering trade questions and checking finishes takes hours every week.

The vision gets diluted

Substitutions made on site under time pressure slowly erode the design you signed off.

Common Questions

Turnkey Interior Design FAQs

What does turnkey mean in interior design?

+

It means the whole project is delivered for you: design, sourcing, coordination and installation, with the finished home handed back ready to live in.

How involved do I need to be?

+

As involved as you like. You approve the brief, the concept and key decisions; we handle the day-to-day coordination.

Can turnkey work with a tight deadline?

+

Clients have told us Gülçin's team sourced unique pieces 'in what seemed like record time' on tight deadlines. Your timeline is discussed and confirmed in the proposal.

Do you manage the builders?

+

Gülçin coordinates and oversees the interior installation. We can work with your own builder or recommend trusted tradespeople.

How much does it cost?

+

Fees are based on project scope and complexity, typically a fixed fee or a percentage of construction cost. You receive a detailed proposal after the complimentary consultation, so you know exactly where you stand before committing.

Is the first consultation free?

+

Yes. Every project begins with a complimentary site visit and project appraisal, at no cost to you.

How long will my project take?

+

Timelines depend on scope, lead times and building work. Your programme is discussed at the consultation and confirmed in your proposal.

How do payments work?

+

A deposit of 50% of the agreed fee is taken at the Engagement stage, once you have approved the vision, scope and contract.

Do you offer an emergency or same-day service?

+

We are a design studio rather than an emergency service. Call 07540 520716 or send an enquiry and we'll come back to you.
