What is procurement?
Procurement is the process of sourcing, ordering and managing the delivery of everything specified for your interior.
On a high-end project, procurement can involve dozens of suppliers, bespoke makers with long lead times and deliveries that need to arrive in the right order. Done well, it's invisible. Done badly, it's where projects stall.
Studio G sources and acquires bespoke, high-end furniture, fixtures and equipment to suit each project's aesthetic, functional and budget requirements. Clients on tight deadlines have told us we sourced unique pieces 'in what seemed like record time'.
Because procurement is handled by the team that designed the scheme, substitutions are avoided and every item arrives as intended.

Do I have to use your procurement service?

No. Procurement is offered as part of turnkey projects or on its own, but you can also take a design package and source items yourself.
Can you source unique or hard-to-find pieces?

Yes. Sourcing bespoke, high-end pieces is a core part of what we do, including commissions from artisans and specialists.
What if an item arrives damaged?

Deliveries are coordinated as part of the service, and any issues are dealt with on your behalf.
Can you source within a set budget?

Yes. Procurement follows the budget agreed in the brief and specification.
How much does it cost?

Fees are based on project scope and complexity, typically a fixed fee or a percentage of construction cost. You receive a detailed proposal after the complimentary consultation, so you know exactly where you stand before committing.
Is the first consultation free?

Yes. Every project begins with a complimentary site visit and project appraisal, at no cost to you.
How long will my project take?

Timelines depend on scope, lead times and building work. Your programme is discussed at the consultation and confirmed in your proposal.
How do payments work?

A deposit of 50% of the agreed fee is taken at the Engagement stage, once you have approved the vision, scope and contract.
