Our Story
Interiors that make you feel at home
Led by award-winning Creative Director Gülçin White, Studio G Interior Design brings over two decades of international experience across America and the UK to high-end residential and commercial projects. The practice is defined by meticulous attention to detail, a strong commitment to sustainability and a multicultural perspective.
Gülçin graduated with a BA (Honours) in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and spent over twenty years working on high-end projects for leading international architectural and interior design firms before founding Studio G in 2013.
Today, from our studio in Ashtead, we help homeowners across Surrey and London, and clients nationwide and internationally, turn houses into homes that work as hard as they look. We specialise in turnkey interior design, interior architecture, kitchens and bathrooms, and the sourcing of bespoke, high-end pieces.
Gülçin leads a collaborative team and is a mentor to all her employees, so every project has one experienced lead and a whole studio behind her, from concept to completion.
In Her Own Words
"I want people to walk into a space and feel held by it. Calm, seen, and at ease."
Not overwhelmed by perfection, but supported by the rhythm and the intention of the space.
Growing up in Istanbul, my early memories were filled with nature, hands-on creativity, and vibrant textures, from watching my mother craft traditional lace, to designing my own Hereke silk carpets, creating leather masks with my brother, and making ceramic necklaces with my sister. Paired with early inspiration from international magazines like Elle, Vogue, and Bazaar, these cultural layers and memories help define the spaces I create today.
Above all, by deeply listening to our clients and involving them every step of the way, whether visiting glass-blowing studios or touring galleries together, we tailor every detail to reflect who they are.
– Gülçin White, Creative Director
Mission & Standards
Intentional, emotional, human
Luxury that works
Luxury isn't just in the finest marbles; it's in how the light hits a worktop at 3:00 p.m., how a drawer opens, and the quiet functionality that gives you freedom to enjoy your home.
Buy once, buy well
Sustainability is core. True luxury is conscious, so we specify pieces made to last rather than to be replaced.
Sculptural and organic
Our style is slightly asymmetrical, raw in texture and perfectly imperfect: never a showroom copy.
You stay involved
We listen deeply and involve you in the decisions that matter, while we handle the detail.
One accountable lead
Gülçin coordinates and oversees the full installation, on time and within budget, keeping you informed.
Clear terms
A complimentary site visit first, a detailed proposal next, and a 50% deposit only once you've approved the vision, scope and contract.
